Where to buy good weed in Bangkok?

One thing’s for sure in Bangkok: no matter what your preferences and tastes are, you’ll definitely find a weed dispensary that suits you. I’ve come to understand this well, and that’s why I’ve decided to share some of the best weed stores with you, based on very specific criteria like the vibe, the quality of the weed of course, but also the prices, the staff, and so on.

Ready to visit my Top 5 cannabis shops in BKK? Let’s go!

The best quality and affordable prices: Dr Green

shop dr green bangkok

  • Address: 93 Sukhumvit Road, Khwaeng Khlong Toei Nuea, Khet Watthana, Bangkok 10110, Thailand
  • Opening hours: 24/7 Everyday
  • Phone number: +66821719192
  • Languages of the staff: Thai, English
  • Bangkok Stoners Rating: 10/10
  • Retail Choices: On-site, Delivery
  • Payment Options: Cash, QR Payment
  • Cheapest Strain: 10 grams of Green Crack for 180 THB, that’s freaking cheap, isn’t it?
  • Most Expensive Strain: 800 THB

If you take my advice, make your first stop at Dr Green Bangkok. Many of my readers tell me it’s become their go-to dispensary during their stay. It’s not uncommon for them to buy all their holiday weed here because, honestly, it’s tough to find better.

If you want to know more about this shop, you can read my review of Dr Green. You’ll understand better why it’s ranked number one everywhere on the site.

First off, the dispensary is super well-located, just 20 meters from Soi Cowboy, a hotspot of Bangkok nightlife. To get there, you can take the BTS to Asok station or the metro to Sukhumvit station. From either, it’s just a 150-meter walk to Dr Green. You can’t miss the big green neon leaf lighting up the street!

Quality-wise, it’s top-notch. You’ll find incredible strains like Apple Banana, Pitaya, and many others, for less than 750 THB per gram. And I’m talking about ultra-premium strains here. On average, the prices for these super strains range from 250 THB to 750 THB max.

You can also take advantage of my two promotional codes, valid in-store and for home or hotel delivery:

  • Bangkokstoners20 for 20% off everything in the store, including weed strains.
  • BSmonthly50 for 50% off the weed of the month (which often changes but is always top-shelf weed, I promise). Ask the budtenders to show you this month’s strain.

Honestly, Dr Green is a sure bet for buying weed in Bangkok. Last thing, Dr Green is a 24h dispensary. Do you know what does it mean? Yeah, right, you can contact them anytime, and they will be open or deliver! What about that dude!

The weed shop for the social side: Weed Street

shop weed street bangkok

  • Address: 69 ซอย สาทร 11 Thung Wat Don, Sathon, Bangkok 10120, Thailand
  • Opening hours: 01:00 pm to 12:00 am
  • Phone number: +66618402933
  • Languages of the staff: Thai, English
  • Bangkok Stoners Rating: 9.5/10
  • Retail Choices: On-site, Delivery
  • Payment Options: Cash, QR Payment
  • Cheapest Strain: Around 300 THB
  • Most Expensive Strain: 1200 THB

Here’s a gem I’m practically giving you as an exclusive because I don’t see this recommendation in many guides. It’s a shame because Weed Street is a super nice, bright weed shop, run by two incredibly friendly French guys who really know their shit when it comes to cannabis.

Located in the Sathorn district on a quiet street, this dispensary stands out for two reasons:

  1. The owners have created a weed trading app. Prices vary based on the popularity of strains (determined by sales volume in the shop). I’ve managed to snag some fantastic strains for less than 300 THB. Yes, that’s what you call cheap weed, and I agree. This system is really interesting for you as a consumer and deserves more recognition.
  2. Upstairs, you’ll find a game center packed with consoles like the PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch. This means you can buy your weed, smoke, and dive into the latest games like FIFA, Call of Duty, and many others. If you’re into gaming, you’re going to love Weed Street.

The quality is excellent too. They’ve got indica, sativa, hybrid strains, and even some special “brown” treats that you can ask the budtender about—very charming one, by the way.

I’ve also managed to negotiate some exclusive promotional codes just for you:

  • BStonersStreet20 for 20% off everything in the store, including weed strains.
  • BStonersStreet50 for 50% off the weed of the month.

Yeah, that’s how we do it at Bangkok Stoners, all for the family!

The best weed shop to party: Miami Vice

shop miami vice bangkok

  • Address: 48 Patpong 2 Alley, Surawong Rd, Khwaeng Suriya Wong, Khet Bang Rak, Krung Thep Maha Nakhon 10500, Thailand
  • Opening hours: 02:00 pm to 05:00 am
  • Phone number: N/A
  • Languages of the staff: Thai, English
  • Bangkok Stoners Rating: 9.4/10
  • Retail Choices: On-site
  • Payment Options: Cash, QR Payment
  • Cheapest Strain: 400 THB
  • Most Expensive Strain: 650 THB

Just from the name, you get the vibe. Miami Vice is a weed shop that opened a few months ago in one of my favorite Bangkok neighborhoods, renowned for its nightlife—Patpong.

Honestly, a good dispensary was missing in this area, and now you don’t have to worry anymore because Miami Vice is the spot to buy your weed in Patpong. The shop itself is really cool. I personally love the big murals and graffiti. And when you walk in, you feel comfortable right away.

Here’s my tip: head there around 11 PM. Buy your weed without hassle. The strains are quality and the prices are fair, especially considering the location. Check with the budtenders about smoking on-site. Occasionally, it’s allowed.

But the coolest part about Miami Vice? When you head upstairs, there’s literally a nightclub! Yeah, dude! A real nightclub where you can dance and chill with the staff. You’re guaranteed to have a blast. And if you want a bit more privacy, you can always rent one of the karaoke rooms! Ahh, you see where I’m going with this! I won’t say more, go check it out yourself, and you’ll tell me about it!

Just so you know, I took my friends there in late April 2024, and they were all losing their minds. One of them even told me:

Thanks, Max, I had the best night of my life. You know, in the karaoke room, you should have come because after the third bottle of vodka, we….

Stop, the rest is censored!

Alright, I’ve also hustled some coupon codes for you! Yeah, you can say I deliver, haha! Here’s what you’ve got:

  • BSVICE20: use this promo code to get 20% off everything in the store.
  • BSVICE50: this one gets you a whopping 50% off the weed of the month. I love these kinds of promotions because they let you snag various strains for cheap.

The best weed shop to chill: Amélie

shop amélie bangkok

  • Address: 133 Soi Ram Maitri, Pom Prap, Pom Prap Sattru Phai, Bangkok 10100, Thailand
  • Opening hours: 02:00 pm to 10:00 pm
  • Phone number: +66935936242
  • Languages of the staff: Thai, English
  • Bangkok Stoners Rating: 9.4/10
  • Retail Choices: On-site
  • Payment Options: Cash, QR Payment
  • Cheapest Strain: 400 THB
  • Most Expensive Strain: 700 THB

Alright, if you’re in chill mode (or nursing a hangover, that works too) and want to escape the constant noise of the city, I’ve got the most beautiful dispensary for you in Bangkok. It’s a bit subjective, I know, because what I like might not necessarily appeal to you, but trust me, it’s hard not to agree here. Amélie is the epitome of a chill weed shop! Plus, it’s super Instagram-worthy. If you’re into photography, you should have a field day in this dispensary.

Amélie is definitely a place where you can spend hours, smoking joints downstairs on swing chairs, or opt for the spacious upstairs area with super comfy sofas. Don’t hesitate to chat with the waitress; she’s really nice and makes killer teas and coffees. Also, I’ve negotiated something special for you:

  • A free Thai tea for every 1000 THB spent.

And believe me, the Thai tea is delicious! It’s my favorite drink in Thailand, and this one is top-notch, made with love! That places Amélie on top of my best weed cafe list, located in Bangkok!

As for the weed, it’s cool; the prices are super decent. But here, the selection is smaller than in the previous three shops. The owner prefers to focus on a few strains, between six and ten, but ensures consistent quality. Personally, I went for the Lemon Orange, I’m really into those flavors right now. Honestly, it was great, tasty, and effective.

So, if you want to spend a good time in a pretty weed shop with cool people and quality weed, Amélie is your spot not too far from Chinatown!

The weed shop for enthusiasts: Flower Shop

dispensary flower shop bangkok

  • Address: 1111 Charoen Krung Road, Si Phraya, Bang Rak, Bangkok 10500, Thailand
  • Opening hours: 12:00 pm to 12:00 am (closed on Mondays)
  • Phone number: +66932788716
  • Languages of the staff: Thai, English
  • Bangkok Stoners Rating: 9.2/10
  • Retail Choices: On-site, Delivery
  • Payment Options: Cash on Delivery, QR Payment
  • Cheapest Strain: 450 THB
  • Most Expensive Strain: 850 THB

This one fits into my Top 5 for its human touch, and there’s a cool story behind it too. Check this out.

I was strolling near Charoen Krung Road when suddenly, I passed a shop with an unusual front: Flower Shop Dispensary. Curious (and wanting to smoke a big joint), I went in. The shop is super classy, really nice space.

I waited my turn as another customer was being served. Listening in, I was totally blown away by the seller’s spiel. He was super sweet, really taking the time to ask the customer about his preferences, smoking level, etc. He recommended a strain that I would have suggested myself. I was amazed!

Then it was my turn, and that’s when I met Rob, the owner of the shop. I was immediately struck by his passion and knowledge. We really hit it off; the guy is mega cool! We obviously talked about cannabis and then, after about twenty minutes, he showed me a crazy database! Rob wasn’t just running a dispensary, he was orchestrating an experience. His database was a treasure for me, a meticulous register of aromas, effects, origins, and many other criteria. I was fascinated.

He explained that he actually tastes all the strains with his colleague, spending hours analyzing everything. Really, I had a great time with him and of course, I left with some samples!

For those who love art, know that the street behind the shop is super chill, there are really cool spots to see. There’s even a small café that sells delicious drinks. Clearly, it’s a spot to visit quickly before it becomes too well-known! FYI, there is Warehouse 30 not too far from the shop, a great place to go out and meet friends.

So there you go, my Gs, for my five favorite dispensaries in Bangkok. If you’re in town for a few days, try to visit them all and send me your photos on Instagram, I’d love to post them with your honest reviews.

REMEMBER – Just remember to bring your ID – you can’t buy weed if you are not 20 years old at least, as these establishments take their compliance seriously.

What about other weed shops?

Of course, there are other weed shops in Bangkok:

  1. Some are great, but for me, they don’t hold any interest compared to my Top 5.
  2. Others are pretty but seem to be unfamiliar with the concept of cheap weed. I categorize them as tourist traps because it’s not normal to pay more than 800 THB per gram (and that’s only for exceptional strains).
  3. Some are just bad, offering disgusting weed that’s either too dry or imported. Some don’t hesitate to lie about THC levels. For this, I refer you to a great video by DrewIsSharing, a YouTuber I really dig. He’s hilarious but always spot-on. You can tell he really knows his cannabis.

Any weed shop near me?

If you’re still asking this question, you probably haven’t seen the new sections on my site. I now give you the best weed shop by neighborhood in Bangkok! Cool idea, right?

Here are the neighborhoods, choose your spot:

Frequently Asked Questions

I receive so many messages from my dear readers, curious to know everything about cannabis in Thailand. So, without further ado, here are the answers to your most burning questions. And believe me, some answers may well surprise you! And if you need more, visit my FAQ. It’s pretty complete, thanks to you!

Is cannabis legal in Thailand?

Yes, it is! Since June 2022, medical cannabis has been legalized in Thailand. I still remember the day this news was announced. I was sitting in my favorite cafe in Bangkok, sipping a chai latte, when the news broke. What a memorable day!

But be warned, although legal, there are certain regulations to follow. So make sure you do your homework before taking the plunge.

Where can you smoke cannabis in Thailand?

Good question! While the temptation to light up a joint on a paradise beach may be great, it’s preferable to consume in private places or in establishments specially designed for the purpose, such as certain cafes or dispensaries.

On my last trip to Phuket, I discovered a hidden cafe where you could enjoy edibles while taking in a breathtaking view of the sea. Magical!

Where to find cheap weed in Bangkok?

I believe this is the question I receive the most, to be honest. For me, the best cannabis shop where I find cheap cannabis, but still top-shelf weed, is Dr Green. Check what I write about them at the top of this article. You can even use a coupon code to receive 20% OFF and another one to get 50% OFF on the weed of the month!

Why has Thailand legalized cannabis?

Ah, the million-baht question! Thailand has recognized the many medical and economic benefits of cannabis. What’s more, the country has a long history with the plant, traditionally using it for medicinal purposes. So legalization was a logical step to support the local economy and provide new opportunities for farmers.

And between you and me, I think it was also an excellent decision to attract even more curious tourists like you and me!
